We would be happy to meet with you to discuss your project. During that meeting, we can share preliminary ideas for your remodel and give you an estimate of the budget range you are in.

We make a practice of starting with a design phase with almost all of our clients. We find that it ensures the best ultimate remodel with the fewest issues for everyone concerned.

Yes. We always start with our design phase. It ensures that we create the best overall plan that will be balanced with a budget that works for you. By investing the time that it takes to consider all of the details including their impact on your project’s budget, it greatly reduces the likelihood of costly surprises.

We usually start by asking you questions about how you and your family use your bathroom, kitchen, or other living space you want to be remodeled. We need to know what works for you and what doesn’t. If you have a wish list, please share that. For example, if you have gathered online photos of bathrooms you admire, we would like to see them. Our goal is to see your home and your project through your eyes. Once we do this, we can add our expertise to the mix to develop the design project for you.

Many people have installed beautiful wood floors in their kitchens with excellent results. Standing water can be an issue, but normal kitchen activity is no problem. There are also automated water shut-off valves that can be installed in your kitchen and laundry room that will shut off the water supply in the case of a leak in an appliance such as a dishwasher.

The AZ ROC is Arizona’s construction licensing regulatory agency. Per Arizona State Statute, all contractors must be licensed to perform any type of construction work or litigation (unless covered by the Handyman Exemption). A business license in NOT the same as a contracting license. By not hiring a licensed contractor, you run the risk of being scammed and not having recourse should there be a problem with your project. Homework Remodels is appropriately licensed and carries the required insurance, workers compensation, and bonds. Click Here to view our AZ ROC License.

Universal Design incorporates elements so that all people in a single household can utilize the same amenities such as sinks, countertops, cabinets, etc. This is a popular concept for multi-generational families living in the same household or people with various levels of physical ability.

It depends on the size and length of your project and whether your pets can handle the disruption of their favorite napping spots. We have found that most of our clients do not need to board their pets (sometimes their spouse, though).

We minimize disrupting your life as much as possible. Most of our clients remain in their home during the process.

We typically work between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. However, we can accommodate most schedules if that time frame does not work for you.
