Stunning Master Bath Remodel
A Victoria & Albert Tub…
The “wish list” our clients gave us for this master bathroom remodel included a free-standing tub, an accessible shower, higher-end finishes, and plenty of extra storage space. Now, they have exactly what they asked for in, Scottsdale: Stunning. A gorgeous Victoria & Albert free-standing tub is the focal point in this space. First of all, it is a deep soaker tub and features “double-ended” bathing atop an elegant pedestal base. These wonderful tubs are constructed of finely ground volcanic limestone mixed with resin. Consequently, they are solid and will never chip or fade. The plumbing fixture is a Venetian Bronze “Jacobean” tub filler from Newport Brass. Scottsdale: Stunning, indeed!
granite, tile & cabinetry…
On either side of the tub are fabulous granite countertops sitting atop antique white cabinetry. Of course, the cabinets are as functional as they are beautiful. They are painted white and have a chocolate glaze. In addition, the granite is called Café` Crème and adds color and movement to this space. Another high-end finish is in the shower. We used Marmol select 12″ x 12″ marble tiles and a slip-resistant 2″ x 2″ tile on the shower floor. The main floor in a coordinating 20″ x 20″ porcelain tile. Also, in the shower is a deco consisting of 4″ x 4″ tumbled travertine surrounded by a rope and a pencil liner in bronze. The lovely chandelier is from Liebestraum and makes quite a luxurious statement. This remodel is truly Scottsdale: Stunning.
